The Israeli Diamond Industry will shine brightly at VicenzaOro First 2010, to be held January 16 - 21, 2010, with a national pavilion organized by the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI) featuring leading Israeli manufacturers and exporters. The pavilion is strategically placed on the prestigious Diamond Avenue in Pavilion G.

The IDI will have an image booth in the Israel Diamond Pavilion to provide general information on doing business with Israel and will host six Israeli companies exhibiting a wide variety of goods, including loose stones and diamond-set jewelry. The Pavilion will include: AFIC Diamonds Ltd., B.S.M. Diamonds Ltd.,Gal Diamonds Ltd., Kristal Diamonds Ltd., Moshe Namdar & Co., and SDE Group.

Israel continues to be a leading trading and manufacturing center for the world diamond industry. Net exports of polished diamonds from Israel in 2008 exceeded $6.2 billion. Although the major part of Israel’s exports still go to the U.S. and Hong Kong, exports to European markets are very significant, with Belgium and Switzerland Israel’s third and fourth largest markets respectively.
