On 14th October, 2007 an agreement of cooperation (AOC) between ALROSA and the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) was signed by President of ALROSA Sergey Vybornov, President of the Diamond Chamber of Russia Sergey Oulin, and AWDC President Jacky Roth and AWDC Managing Director Freddy J. Hanard in Antwerp (Belgium).

The AOC is aimed to improve the efficiency of cooperation between ALROSA and the Belgian diamond community. In particular, the parties intend to contribute to the implementation of the KP goals, strengthening of the industry reputation. A lot of attention will be paid to promotion of the Russian rough and polished diamonds in international markets.

The signing took place during the ALROSA Night in Antwerp which preceded the opening of the Antwerp Diamond Conference on 15th October, 2007.
