ALROSA President Sergey Vybornov signed an order to appoint Igor V. Sobolev to be Director of the Capital Construction Department of ALROSA from July 2, 2007.

Former Director of the Capital Construction Department Alexander Chaadaev has been repositioned as head the Yakutniproalmaz R&D Institute.

Igor V. Sobolev was born on 16.11.1969;

In 1993 he graduated from the Tula State University specializing in mine and underground construction;

1993-2001 – Mining Foreman, Deputy Head Engineer of Shaft-Sinking Department #1 of the Norilskshakhtstroy Trust, Zapolyarny Division of Norilsk Nickel.

2001-2004 – First Deputy Head of the Capital Construction Department, Zapolyarny Division of Norilsk Nickel;

2004-2007 – Head of the Capital Construction Department of Mining Operations, Zapolyarny Division of Norilsk Nickel.
