In January-May 2007 the gold mining and production in Russia reduced by 1% (414.6 kg) and amounted to 39794 kg. Gold mining decreased by 2.6% (862.7 kg) down to 32378.2 kg, and incidental production – by 0.5% (26.1 kg) down to 5229.4 kg. Secondary gold production grew up by 27.7% (474.2 kg) and amounted to 2186.4 kg.
