The net profit of the company according to US GAAP in 2006 increased by 3.4 times up to $61.7 mln, according to EBITDA – up to $154.9 mln; earnings increased by 32% up to $315.6 mln. These figures were provided by the CEO of Polimetall Vitaliy Nesis, and they are higher than experts had predicted.

It is possible that the final results will be corrected a bit, experts say.

In 2006 Polimetall produced 256 thou oz of gold, 17.3 mln oz of silver. By 2010 the company plans to increase its production volume by 50% thanks to enhancement of two existing ventures and launch of a new pit.
