Since the middle of December 2006 till March 2, 2007, the National Bank of Belarus sold 1015 diamonds with total weight being 192.22 cts. The total cost of the gemstones sold is $362 thou. This information was provided by BelaPAN with reference to the press service of the Bank.

All the diamonds sold are certified. Diamonds retail trade in the country started on December 14, 2005.
