On March 30, 2007, ALROSA Executive Board held its meeting in Mirny at which it shut the balance on the Company’s economic performance in 2006. In 2006 ALROSA produced, including the diamond production of OJSC ALROSA-Nyurba, USD 2 332.2 million worth of rough diamonds, exceeding the target by 2.4%. The core product sales amounted to USD 2 864.5 million, while net profit reached RUR 15 579 million.

The Executive Board passed on the 2006 ALROSA Annual Report for approval of the Company’s Supervisory Board.

Also the Executive Board approved ‘The Regulations on Industrial Safety’ and ‘The Special Program Aimed at Improving Labour Efficiency and Quality of Work for 2007 – 2010’.
