Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant increased gold and silver production in 2006
As it has been reported by PRIME-TASS, OJSC Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant last year increased gold production by 7.53% up to 78.5 tons, silver production – by 50% up to 120 tons.
PGM production in 2006 remained at the level of 2005 – 110 tons.
In 2007 the Plant intends to increase its silver refining production up to 200 tons, in 2008 – up to 400 tons, in 2009 – up to, and by 2010 to increase silver refining up to 1000 tons – thus, to reefing all eth silver mined in Siberia and Far East of Russia.
Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant is the largest Russian refining enterprise, it enters the world top three refining plants. Now the Plant cooperates with 150 mining companies from 13 regions of Russia.
The Plant refines 95% of PGM mined in Russia and about 50% of Russian gold.
