In 2006 Russia increased gold mining up to 195 tons
According to PRIME-TASS, gold mining in Russia in 2006 amounted to 195 tons (in 2005 – 186 tons).
Gold resources growth in 2006 amounted to 1671 tons (in 2005 – 330 tons). Silver mining volume last year totalled to 1550 tons against 1525 tons in 2005. Silver resources growth in 2006 was 13.373 tons. PGM mining in 2006 amounted to 155 tons (in 2005 – 153 tons), resources growth - 97 tons.
Diamonds mining in 2006 totalled to 65 mln cts against 38 mln cts in 2005. Resources growth was 1.7 mln cts (in 2005 – 35.6 mln).
