According to PRIME-TASS, the new law on natural resources will not be approved in 2007. The Ministry of Natural Resources is in the process of forming amendments to the current law.

This means that such important deposits as gold ore deposit Sukhoi Log and copper deposit Udokan will not be put up for tenders this year.
