As it has been reported by Vostok-Media, Kolyma alluvial gold mining is still reducing. For the recent five years the alluvial gold mining in the region has decreased by 3.5 tons. This year the same tendency is observed. In January – November 2006 the volume of gold mining in Kolyma decreased by 1.2 tons as compared with the same period 2005. The total volume of gold prospected (both ore and alluvial) in Kolyma is 17800 kg.
