According to the data of Russian State Assay Chamber, in January – September 2006 the number of assayed and stamped golden jewellery amounted to 26.12 mln pcs, including 1.06 mln pcs exported. As for silver jewellery, 17.69 mln pcs were assayed and stamped, including 4.39 mln pcs exported. Assay Chamber stamped 16.89 thou pcs of platinum jewellery and 4.84 thou pcs of jewellery made of palladium.
