4.5 tons of gold has been mined in Chukotka in 2006
In January – October 2006 about 4.5 tons were mined in Chukotka that exceeds the level of 2005 year by 209kg. Ore gold amounts to 1.8 tons, alluvial – 2.7 tons.
Silver mining at Valunistoe and Dvoynoe deposits in January – October 2006 amounted to 8.2 tons.
