Gold Manufacturers Union of Russia forecast gold mining growth in 2009-2010
As it has been reported by ITAR-TASS with reference to Gold Manufacturers Union of Russia, in 2006 gold production is expected to amount to about 166 tons. Last year this figure was 168 tons (by 3.5% less than in 2004).
Gold Manufacturers Union of Russia forecast gold mining growth in 2009-2010 – annual increase rate at 40 tons. This growth will be possible due to launch of gold largest deposits – Kupol, Blagodat and Verninskoe.
By 2010 it is expected that gold production will reach the level of 190-200 tons a year. By 2013 this figures is expected to grow up to 220-250 tons.
