According to KabarKyrgyzPress, gold bullions production at Karabaltinskiy Refining Plant (Kyrgyzstan) has experienced significant fall due to insufficient supplies from Kumtor gold deposit. This summer a landslip took place at the deposit and it influenced negatively the volume of gold production. The volume of bullions produced totalled to 50% of the planned amount (526 mln soms instead of 1 bln 16 mln soms). In January – August 2006 gold bullions 6 bln 137 mln soms worth were produced.
