By 2013 220-250 tons of gold will have been mined in the Russian Federation. This information was provided to PRIME-TASS by the Chairman of the Union of Gold Manufacturers of Russia Valeriy Braiko. He explained that by the time Maiskoe, Kupol, Verninskoe, Natalka deposits will be explored to their full capacity.

In 2005 Russian gold mining companies produced 168.032 tons of gold – 3.5% less that in 2004. This year it is predicted that 166 tons of gold will be produced.
