Kyrgyz Mining Association reports that the landslip at Kumtor deposit that took place in July will influence on the gold production in Kyrgfyzia. This information was provided by the president of Kutor Company Andrew Lewis.

According to Mr Lewis, in the second half of 2006 gold production will be reduced by 50% as compared with the first six months and will amount to 9 tons. Earlier it was planned to prospect 14 tons of gold.
