ALROSA Company has shown its interest in the purchase of Kaliningrad Amber Complex. As it has been reported by IA Rosbalt, such an announcement was made by the Minister of Industry of Kalinigrad government Nikolai Vlasenko.

He informed that the head of ALROSA Company had visited the region and met the Governor of Kaliningrad region Georgy Boos. One of the key topics of the meeting was the possible purchase of the Complex that is now under external management.

In addition, the special commission of ALROSA visited the region and conducted a research on the situation in the amber complex.

Kaliningrad Amber Complex is controlled by the Ministry of Finance of Russia, and it has not supported the proposition of the regional government to pass the complex into the region’s property.
