In January-June 2006 Kazakhstan reduced refined gold production by 6.3% as compared with the same period last year – down to 4.406 tons. This information was provided by the State Statistics Agency.

Refined silver production in the first six months of 206 amounted to 399.317 tons – by 1.3% fell as compared with January-June 2005, as it has been reported by News.kkb.kz.
