Polymetal is pleased to announce the appointment of Viktor Demeshik as managing director of the Company’s silver producing subsidiaries Magadan Silver and Silver Territories.

Viktor Demeshik is appointed the managing director of the Dukat1, Lunnoye2 and Arylakh silver and gold mines in the Magadan Region of Russia’s Far North.

Viktor Demeshik graduated from Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute (“technology and mechanization of the underground mining of natural resources”). He has more than 20years of successful experience in the mining industry. Before joining Polymetal, Viktor Demeshik worked as the CEO of Mugunskiy coal mine, a subsidiary of Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK).
