According to ArmInfo, Vedanta Resources plc has bought 55% of Sterlite Gold Ltd that owns Ararat Gold Resources Company (AGRC). The sum of the purchase amounted to $32 mln, as it has been reported by the CEO of AGRC Вalden Кrishan Sharma at the press conference in Yerevan.

The deal will allow AGRC to attract $85 mln into the construction of a new plant in Armenia.
