This year Russian and Armenian intergovernmental agreement on natural diamonds export from Russia to Armenia in 2002-2006. This information was provided by the head of jewellery department of Armenian Ministry of Trade and Economic Development, Gagik Mkrtchyan.

He mentioned as well that the two countries should cooperate on mutual basis and develop new forms of collaboration. In the recent two years the agreement was not efficient due to the liberalisation of Russian diamond market.
