In 2005 Russia increased platinum supplies to the world market by 5.33% as compared to 2004 up to 890 thou oz. Palladium supplies were reduced by 3.75% down to 4620 thou oz.

Last year the key suppliers of Russian palladium were MMC Norilsk Nickel, GOKHRAN and US Stillwater Mining Co. In particular, GOKHRAN sold 1 mln oz of palladium in 2005.

This year it is expected that Russian palladium exports will remain at the same level or even a bit fall down as Stillwater has finished Russian palladium selling.
