III Annual Moscow World Fine Art Fair opens at the newly restored Manege May 22 to 29, 2006
The Moscow World Fine Art Fair returns to the Russian capital for its third time on May 22-29, 2006 at the newly restored historic Manege, the city’s largest historic cultural complex.
Founded by Yves Bouvier in 2004, the Moscow World Fine Art Fair is the meeting point each May for the world’s leading art dealers and discerning collectors. The exhibition is held yearly in the magnificent Manege next to the Kremlin and Red Square. The aim of the Moscow World Fine Art Fair is to bring together the world’s finest in all art disciplines including unique creations of fine jewellery.
Over eighty international dealers and fine jewellers -- covering a wide range of specialties including furniture and works of art spanning the 16th through 20th centuries, sculpture, Old Master paintings, Impressionist and modern masters, drawings, tapestries and carpets, Asian art ceramics, and porcelain, and unique pieces of fine jewelry -- are expected to participate. A distinguished committee of European and Russian experts will vet the fair. 4000 objects exhibited valued at more than 1 billion Euros
Countries represented among the 70 exhibitors: Russia, France, Monaco, Italy, Germany, Austria, UK, USA, Belgium, Switzerland
Types of art represented include Fine Jewellery, Ancient Art, Furniture and Works of Art from the 17th, 18th and 19th century, Old Master paintings, Impressionists, Modern and Contemporary paintings, Silver.
Jewellery sector will be represented by such companies as Avakian, Boghossian Geneve, Bulgari S.p.A., Chanel, Chatila, Golay Fils & Stahl, The House of eight SA, Jewelmer, David Morris International, Prologue, Sabbadini, Suzanne Syz, Van Cleef and Arpels, Zendrini for Golconda, Guriati and YUTe – Jewellery Theatre.
