In 4Q05 ALROSA Group mined diamonds $557 mln worth. This information was provided by the company’s press service. In 2006 the company plans to prospect diamonds $2.1 bln. The key tasks for ALROSA this year will be the development of Aikhal and Nyurba pits and diamonds searching in Angola. Besides, the company intends to launch coal mining in Yakutia.
