As it has been reported by PRIME-TASS, precious metals mining in Sverdlovsk region in 2005 amounted to RUR 3.1 bln – 29% growth as compared to 2004.

The total volume of precious metals mining in the region last year was 5378.7 kg of gold, 276.7 kg of platinum and 38 912 kg of silver.
