In 2005 the GOKHRAN of Russia reduced diamonds purchases from JSC ALROSA – by 2% down to $98 mln. This information was provided by Interfax.

In 2004 GOKHRAN purchased from ALROSA diamonds $100 mln worth. The decrease is associated with difference in prices for diamonds.

According to preliminary data, in 2005 ALROSA sold diamonds $2.55 bln worth, and this year it plans to sell gemstones $2.734 bln worth.
