The Constitution Court of Belarus has considered the ban for dealing with jewellery without the assay marks of Belarus.

According to the press service of the Court, the current legislation provides this ban and the Court has approved it. Such a policy is necessary for rational consumption of gemstones and precious metals and for preventing illegal jewellery business.

Thus, the citizens of Belarus cannot sell the jewellery, which is bought abroad and does not have the assay mark of Belarus.
