In order to improve the situation in Russian gold sector, the Government of Russia and the Central Bank are to consider a number of questions associated with gold mining stimulation, development of domestic market and increase of gold share in Russian gold and currency reserves.

In particular, by March 1, 2006, the Government of Russia will have to develop a complex of measures aimed at stimulation of geologic searching, to consider a question of VAT abolishment for gold selling etc.
