According to “Business”, ALROSA plans to diversify its risks and to start new activities. It turned out that in 1995 the company bought oil processing plant that is not exploited now. As it has been announced by the president of ALROSA Alexander Nichiporuk, in the nearest two years the company intends to build an oil processing plant with the power capacity of 250 thou tons of oil a year. The plant will be constructed in Mirny city. The cost of the project is expected to amount to RUR 4 bln.
