Vremya Novostey reports that the head of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Vyacheslav Shtyrov estimates the cost of deep diamonds mining start at $3 bln. He mentioned that in the future three years three pits should be constructed, and each is expected to cost about $1 bln. These measures are needed for the volume of diamonds mined in the Republic remained at the same level till 2015.
