On January 10, 2006, the Bank of Russia will issue the following memorial coins made of precious metals:

- silver coin at the face value of three roubles devoted to the Dog (Lunar Calendar series);

- silver coin at the face value of three roubles and golden coin at the face value of fifty roubles devoted to the ХХ Winter Olympic Games (Italy, February 10-26, 2006);

- silver coin at the face value of three roubles and golden coin at the face value of fifty roubles devoted to the World Football Championship (Germany, June 9 – July 9, 2006).
