As Russian Jewellery Network has already reported, the joint delegation of ALROSA and Kristall companies visited UAE where the representatives of Russian companies met the representatives of UAE diamond complex. Russian delegation was headed by the President of ALROSA Alexander Nichiporuk and the CEO of Smolensk Kristall Maxim Shkadov.

During the meeting there were such questions discussed as diamonds production by Smolensk Kristall for the local market, information exchange between ALROSA and Dubai Centre of Metals and Commodities, Russian Diamonds Season organisation at Dubai Diamond Exchange.

In the nearest future AROSA Company plans to start raw diamonds selling in UAE. This decision was made during the meeting in Dubai. Kristall Company intends to launch several cooperation projects with UAE jewellery companies.
