According to RIA Novosti, the President of Yakutia Republic informed that the volume of investments into the gold mining sector of the Republic in the nearest future will amount to about $800 mln. It is planned, in particular, that in 2006 Polyus Company (subsidiary of MMC Norilsk Nickel) will invest $100 mln into Yakut gold deposits development.
