According to Vedomosti, Mikhail Prokhorov and Vladimir Potanin continue selling shares of MMC Norilsk Nickel. At the beginning of the year they sold 4.88% of the shares to the company for over $600 mln, and recently they sold about 3% more.

One share of MMC Norilsk Nickel will be exchanged for one share of OJSC Polyus Zoloto – a new company that will be registered in March 2006 and will own CJSC Polyus and 20% of SA Gold Fields.
