OJSC Polymetall has shown good results among the world silver producers – its share in the world silver production amounted to 2.7%. In Russia it has 81% of the total silver production.

According to GFMS Silver Survey 2005, Dukat and Lunnoe silver deposits in 2004 were among World Silver Top-10, Dukat being the third world largest silver deposit. The list is leaded by Cannington (Australia) exploited by BHP Billiton, then Fresnillo (Proaсo) (Mexico) managed by Industrias Peсoles SA de CV.
