In January – September 2005 the volume of gold produced in Russia decreased by 7.2% (or by 9816.6 kg) down to 126 119.3 kg of gold as compared to the same period last year. This information was provided by the Union of Gold Manufacturers. Gold mining in the country decreased by 6% (or by 7364.2 kg) – down to 114 188.7 kg.
