In 2006 the Bank of Russia plans to issue 45 kinds of memorial and investment coins.

In particular, golden coins weighing a kilogram will be devoted to the 100th anniversary of Parliament in Russia. Golden and silver coins weighing 1 kg will accomplish the series “Russia in the world cultural and natural heritage UNESCO”. 150th anniversary of the State Tretyakov Gallery will have its own coins too – coins made of precious metals at the face value of three and twenty-five roubles.
