In January-June 2005 Russian jewellery companies manufactured 14.931 mln pcs of golden jewellery with total weight 38.41 tons, that exceeds the results of the same period last year by 22%.

According to the data of Russian Assay Office, in 1H05 Russian jewellers produced 10.98 mln pcs of silver jewellery with total weight being 71.69 tons (including those produced abroad – 2.22 mln pcs, 15.4 tons), and 9.26 thou pcs of platinum jewellery (54.5 kg) and 2.79 thou pcs of palladium jewellery (13.8 kg).
