On August 25 JSC ALROSA Supervisory Council held a meeting. Aleksey Kudrin, Russia’s Minister of Finance, was elected the Chairman of the meeting and Egor Borisov, the head of Yakutia government, was approved as the deputy Chairman.

The members of the Council discussed the question of the company’s plans for 2005 and approved several amendments in them. Thus, the diamonds mining this year is planned to amount to $2185.1 mln, the net profit of the company – RUR 14806 mln. This year RUR 1886 mln will be invested in the geological searching.
