On August 23, 2005, the exposition from the Hermitage named Zolotaya Orda (Golden Horde): History and Culture will open in Kazan.

According to the press service of the Hermitage, the exposition will include over 800 articles of historic and cultural value. These are items made in XIII-XV centuries in the Golden Horde, among them there are arms, silverware, jewellery and clothes.

The exhibition will finish in May 2006 and then the exposition will be transported back to St.-Petersburg.
