As it has been reported by NBLzoloto, Canadian company Kinross Gold intends to get the right for two gold ore deposits exploitation – Oroch and Perekatnoe. Both deposits are located in Magadan region. The company plans to continue Kubaka and Birkachan deposits exploitation.

Oroch deposit’s resources are estimated at 30 tons of gold and 1.5 thou tons of silver. The experts of Kinross Gold have visited Matrosov’s pit owned by Polus company (MMC Norilsk Nickel subsidiary). MMC Norilsk Nickel and Polus Company are negotiating with foreign gold mining companies (in particular, with Kinross) about possible assets merger. Such a variant is considered to be a way of Polus Company’s entry to the world market after 2007.
