According to the forecasts, this year the gold mining of Krasnoyarsk krai will amount to 32.8 tons, and in 2006 – 33.8 tons of the precious metal.

The main gold mining companies of the region are Polus, Sovrudnik and Priisk Drazhny. However, the forecast of Krasnoyarsk gold mining is associated with the start of Vasilyevskiy Pit work. The planned capacity of the company will allow to mine up to 5 tons of gold a year.
