From August 21 to 27 VI Golden Ring of Russia Jewellery Fest took place in Kostroma. The programme of the Fest traditionally included business, sport and cultural events: jewellery exhibition, mini-football and volleyball matches, tennis etc.

In the context of the event there was the First Jewellers Congress of Russia was organised where the most important problems of the setor were discussed.

This year 82 jewellery companies participated in the jewellery exhibition and about 50 of them are from Kosroma. The exhibition’s sectors included jewellery made of gold, platinum and silver, gemstones, bijouterie, watches and clocks, minerals, packages, equipment etc. Up to 30% of Russian jewellery are produced in Kostroma region.
