On June 26 there was the coins and medals auction held in Marriott Royal Aurora Hotel, Moscow. The auction was organised by numismatic company Coins and Medals.

505 lots, Russian and foreign coins and medals, were put up for tenders. Among them there were coins issued in the period starting from the reign of Alexei Mikhailovich and to Nikolai II, Soviet coins and those from France, Spain, Belgium, Chilei etc.

The most interesting lots included the silver coin of 1839 sold for $4400 with the starting price $4000, Soviet rare silver coin at the face value 20 kopeks issued in 1931 – it was purchased for $1200 (starting price - $880).
