As it has been reported by Vremya Novostei, CJSC Polus, managing the gold assets of MMC Norilsk Nickel, is negotiating with a number of foreign companies interested in gold mining in Russia.

There is no particular plans yet but a merge is considered to be a possible way of international market entering after 2007.
