According to RIA Novosti and Kabar Agency, by 2010 Kyrgyzia will have stopped gold mining as all the deposits in the country will be exhausted.

Now 70% of all gold resources in the Republic are located at Kumtor deposit that is being exploited by Kameko Corporation, Canada, but by 2009 these resources will have finished.
