XII International Exhibition and Conference "Mineral Resources of the CIS" (MIRR-2005) will be held from June 2005 in St.-Petersburg in parallel with the St.-Petersburg Economic Forum.

The Exhibition and the Conference 'Mineral Resources of the CIS" concerning the urgent problems of the development of mineral resources is traditionally held in St. Petersburg starting from 1993 under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation and the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS Countries.

The eleven-years’ experience of the previous Exhibitions and Conferences, in which more than 1000 organizations and enterprises of Russia, the CIS countries and western countries took part, showed that this event have become a centre of the expression and integration of the scientific and technical potential of mining and geological industries of Russia and the CIS countries.
