As it has been reported by IA Novosti-Georgia, on May 14 the Minister of Economic Development Alexei Aleksishvili visited Tbilisi Jewellery Plant and discussed its possible privatisation with the company’s management and workers.

At the beginning of May the Ministry of Economic Development of Georgia announced the contest for the Plant’s privatisation. May 31 is the deadline for applying. The representatives of the Ministry are sure that large number of companies will participate in the contest.

Tbilisi Jewellery Plant produces jewellery and sells it to Georgia and Russia.
