The Governor of Kostroma region V. Shershunov has addressed the Minister of Trade and Economic Development G. Gref. The issue of the public letter was connected with the organisation of Russian Jewellery Congress in Kostroma on June 22-23, 2005. The event is aimed at supporting Russian jewellery sector and creating of conditions favourable for its development. The Congress will be of special; importance in connection with Russia’s entry to WTO.

It is supposed that among the event participants there will be regional authorities, the representatives of ministries, customs, jewellery companies, organisations and associations, mass media and all the bodies concerned.
